Whenever I’m feeling a bit down, or worried about something, or stressed out, I just check in, find the right room, knock on the door and there’ll be someone on the other side to invite me in and help me out. I’ve got a character who can help with any kind of problem, and they’ve helped me out an awful lot in times of stress when I find it hard to talk to other people.
I don’t have a mental illness, they are not ‘voices’ in my head - they’re all characters I’ve consciously created for various stories and comics over the years, but they all live together in one big building so I know where to find them when I need them.
It’s great, and I love it.
